Hello,

As Mechanical engineering is one of the best branches of engineering but since from 5to7 years, IT boom came which enhances the job opportunity in IT sectors. now Coming to the topic of the mech. Eng. From JSSATE, literally it is good but when u compare it with job opportunity…only a few students of mechanical eng. get placed in core companies…but many other companies recruit mechanical students, however this is not the scene of our colleges only but almost every colleges …except IITS,NITS,BITS ,JADAVPUR University…,some IIITS etc..so ..but if u work hard ..then definitely u will get placed.it also has a very good reputation in Karnataka..however, u will also have many golden opportunities after BTech from mech..

Hope this helps...
