If you are appearing for JEE Main 2019 then two attempts will be left with you for JEE Main, while for Advanced one attempt will be left.
If you are not appearing 2019 then three attempt for JEE Main will be left and two attempt for Advanced will be left with you.
For JEE Advanced you can appear in two consecutive years.

Greetings.
As of 2019, there are a total of 3 attempts you can take in JEE main examination. You only qualify for JEE advanced if you manage to clear JEE main, and you cannot take JEE main examination more than 3 times. So, the number of attempts in JEE advanced is also restricted to a total of 3 attempts.
