I hope you are doing good. Now coming to your query, As per last year reviews of the students you are allowed twice in a semester to go home and In case of any health issue you are allowed 3rd time also. Apart from them, there will be some open holidays for Diwali, Pongal, etc. You can even go outing every Sunday if parents can pick and drop you back by 6 pm. If you want to take leave for some strong reason in other than these days then you can meet the dean of student affairs in personal and request her/him.
