gehnachawlagac 3rd Aug, 2019

Hello,

One just need to qualify NEET to be eligible to take admission in MBBS abroad.

This year the score required to qualify NEET 2019 is 107 for reserved category and 134 for general caregory which is not a very high number.

Below is the eligibility criteria for MBBS Abroad:

1: The student must have completed class 12th from a regular board.

2: The student must be 17 years plus as on 31st December of the year in which the admission is being taken.

3:The student must be NEET qualified.

4: If the student is from General category then he/she must have an aggregate of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.

5: If the student is from SC/ST/OBC then he/she must have an aggregate of at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.

6:Students from open boarding or correspondence classes are not eligible.

As per the new rules, you need to qualify NEET to be eligible to sit for the Screening Test which you need to sit for after you get your degree and come back to India for practicing.

NEET is not required if you don’t want to come back and practice in India.

Last year, the qualifying marks were 131 for general category students and 107 for other category students and will be more or less around this figure only this year.

All the Best, I hope it helped, feel free to approach for further queries.

Hi.

To study MBBS abroad first thing you have to do is to qualify NEET. NEET qualifying marks will be mentioned your result card. Last year students from General category who had scored as low as 131 out of 720 in NEET had qualified. For candidates who belonged to SC/ST/OBC category - qualifying marks were 107 out of 720. You need to score at least 50th percentile in NEET to be eligible for studying MBBS abroad in reknowned universities in Russia, Georgia, Armenia and Malaysia.

Good luck
