Out of the 2,24,000 students who will be selected for JEE Advanced 2019, 50.5% candidates will be from Common Merit List (General category); 27% candidates from OBC list; 15% from SC merit list; 7.5% from ST merit list and almost 3% from PWD (Person with disabilities) merit list.

According to the official brochure. the top 2,45,000 qualified candidates of JEE Main 2019 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
