It will be 6 now considering 2 exams held every year.

A student can able to attempt three times the JEE mains paper . Infact the good thing is that from next year onwards the NTA has provided you the opportunity to write the JEE mains two times per year which is in the session January and in April. So it will be better for you guys that you all will be getting overall 6 chances to write the JEE mains examination.
