How many years study is required from Karnatka for appearing CET in karnataka

In order to be eligible for KCET the academic study from a state institute should be for a minimum period of 7 years, starting from 1st standard to 2nd PUC/12th standard as on July 1 of the exam year.

Candidates should have appeared/passed either SSLC/10th standard or 2nd PUC/12th standard exam from Karnataka.

Thank you..that means if my son passed from 10th std from Karnataka and study somewhere for 11th and 12th, still he will be eligible for all KET exams as he has studied 10 years from 1st std in karnatka. please confirm the same
