According to CRL rank you have to score a rank within 3500 to get a seat in CSE in NIT Suratkal. For GEN-EWS you have to score within 1100 in EWS rank list.. For OBC-NCL you have to score within 2500 in OBC rank list. For SC, you have to score within 1000 in SC rank list. For ST, you have to score within 350 in ST rank list.

NIT take the cutoff specified by NTA during the result declaration different for different categories.

SO to make your position secure at any NIT you have to score as low as 1K. a rank above will decrease your chance. TO get this much rank you have to score nearly 99%. So the competion is very high and hard.

Try to do a complete preparation and know your weakness and overcome it.
