To qualify for the VIT entrance examination, you'll need to score within the following ranges, depending on your desired branch and campus:

VIT Vellore Cutoffs

- Top Branches (CSE, IT): 110+ marks (rank 1-250)

- ECE/Mechanical: 85+ marks (rank 251-500)

- Mid-tier Branches: 70-89 marks (rank 501-2500)

- Lower-tier Branches: 50-69 marks (rank 2501-5000)


VIT Chennai Cutoffs

- CSE: 80+ marks (rank 1-4000)

- ECE: 75+ marks (rank 4001-6000)

- Mechanical: 65+ marks (rank 6001-10000)


General Guidelines

- A score of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is required for B.Tech courses.

- Admission to VIT Vellore and Chennai requires different cutoff scores ².
