Different colleges have different criteria for minimum percentage for admission, most of hovers around 60% aggregate in PCM subject, also if you are able to maintain score above 60% it would become more easier to get a good college, which help you in shaping your career.

In class 12 you can score 75% and above to get a good college in your belt. The main thing which depend is the JEE score. The score in JEE will figure your rank for the admission in Chemical engineering.
Try to get good score in class 12th by maintaining more than 75% or more. Also try to get good marks in JEE too.
Thank you
