Hello Prabhakaran ,thanks for asking this question on this platform.now for getting admission in any government engineering College depends upon the college in which you want to take admission and secondly there is a minimum percentage required for being eligible is 60% but this is minimum so you have to secure good percentage for getting admission in mechanical branch in any engineering college .thanks

Hi Aspirant,

There is a concept of a 60 percent requirement for lateral entry exam.

After completion of your diploma,you are eligible for the exam of the degree.So,try to score 60% or above in your diploma.
