Hi aspirant,

NTA follows percentile based normalisation procedures for calculating the rank of candidates from last year. In order to get civil engineering in top NITs your Common Rank list (CRL) rank should be lass than 25000 approximately. The corresponding OBC category rank should be lesser than 7200 approximately.

The above data is just an approximation based on previous year data and hence may vary in actual every year. For more correctness and exactness you can see the closing rank of college concerned for civil engineering.

All the best.

jellaramyasri If that is your percentage then you would be getting a really good rank.
Most probably if that is your percentile then your rank would be 2,37,000 approximately in Common Rank list (CRL)
All the best.
