So, for securing a seat in IITs for computer science, you really need to have a very good rank, almost under 300 in India. Although different colleges have different cutoffs for the same, but more or less they all need a rank within 300. Like for example the cutoff for IIT bombay cse is 63 for general, for IIT delhi it's 93 for general etc.
