Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. If the no.of qualified Candidates are more than the no.of seats available, the cut offs increase and vice versa. Now in 2019, for example, the cut off for OBC was 107-133. It was 15 marks more than 2018 data. In 2018, the cut off for OBC was 96-118. And this year, NEET hss been postponed by almost 5 months which means even if half the Candidates utilised this time and prepared well, the competition is going to be tough. And to add on due to the Pandemic, Candidates might not opt for Colleges far off but opt for Colleges nearer to home. So the cut offs will increase. Considering all these facts, the cut offs might increase by 15-25 marks across all Categories for NEET 2020. This is the generalcut offs that we are talking about. The cut offs of individual Colleges are going to increase by atleast 50 marks. UP is the best example for it. In 2018, under State Quota 429 was the cut off for OBC Category. And in 2019, it was more than 570. So cut offs might increase this year as well.
