Hello,

In general, to seek admission in an LLB course , one must do the following:

  • Eligibility: First, one should ensure eligibility for the program. For a 3-year LLB program, the candidates should have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum marks of 45-50% depending upon the university. However, some universities also offer 5-year integrated LLB course for students after completion of 12th standard.
  • Application Process:
  1. Official website of the concerned law school or university, you wish to join should be visited.
  2. Application form duly filled with all required details and documents
  3. Most universities conduct entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT, or university-specific exams, so check whether you need to appear for one
  • Admission: If your results from the entrance exam or your academic qualifications (in some cases) work for you, you would be offered admission.
  • Documents: Collect your graduation certificate, marksheets, ID proof, and passport-sized photographs, for the purpose.

Since you had done your post-graduation in the years 2002-2003, it might be pertinent to check for specific age relaxations or career progression options offered by universities for students coming in for LLB after a postgraduate education.
