Hello aspirant,

Certified Registered Nurse Anaesthetic is a training program that focuses on the field of Anaesthesiology. This course is pursued by aspirants who to become a Nurse anaesthetist. There are various institutions all over the country which offer this course for the aspirants.

The eligibility criteria for this course is:- the aspirant should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Other than this, aspirants must also be a Registered Nurse (RN). He/she must have at least 1 year working experience in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) or CCU (Critical Care Unit) setup in a hospital.

After completing the CRNA certificate course, aspirants can join the profession of Nurse Anaesthetic in India as well as  abroad. The important day to day jobs of a nurse anaesthetic include:- pre, intra and post operation care of patients and giving support to Surgeons. Normally, the professionals work under the supervision of surgeon who is leading the surgery process.
