Well your ambition is unique. In order to be a nuclear physicist you need to first have a B.Sc. degree with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and concentration on nuclear physics. Some colleges give admission to master's degree via merit but some take entrance examination. In master's you will get nuclear physics as the specialised subject which you can further take to PhD and Post-doctorate to become a researcher as a nuclear physicist.
