Admission in to Punjab Engineering College in B.Tech is based JEE Main score and the seat allocation is based on JoSAA counselling. The candidates are admitted under GEN/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ PwD. So you will be admitted under general category. The cut off was as follows for general category candidate in 2002 JoSAA round 6 for admission in to Computer Science and Engineering
The cut off is subjected to change depending on factors like number of seats vacant, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc. You need to score minimum 98.5-99 percentile to have decent changes of getting admission in Punjab Engineering College.
