Central University of Tamil Nadu Admission (CUTN) without CUET Examination

The Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is the primary entrance test for most undergraduate and postgraduate course admissions in central universities, or in this case, the Central University of Tamil Nadu. However, a few courses offer alternative routes for admission. These are:

• Direct Admission (for some programs): In certain cases, CUTN can directly admit students based on prior academic qualifications (e.g. for some diplomas or when there are no entrance examinations).
• Merit Based Admission: Some postgraduate courses can offer merit based admission, wherein eligible candidates are selected based on their prior qualifying examinations (UG or PG).
• Other Reserved Categories: Students could also qualify for some reserved categories or special quotas (e.g. for sports or cultural achievements, etc.). There could be different criteria that could be applied in this instance, etc.
