LPU offers scholarships for meritorious students while admission to various programmes on the following basis:

1. According to the score obtained in LPUNEST :

If the score obtained is more than the category I cut-off, the applicable scholarship is 50% of the programme fee; within the category II cut-off, the applicable scholarship is 40% of programme fee; or within category III cut-off, the scholarship is 30% of programme fee.

2. For engineering programmes on the basis of JEE Mains marks:

If the percentile obtained is more than the category I cut-off ie. percentile more than 95, the applicable scholarship is 50% of the programme fee; within the category II cut-off ie. percentile between 90 - 95, the applicable scholarship is 40% of programme fee; or within category III cut-off ie. percentile between 80 - 90, the scholarship is 30% of programme fee.

3. For management programmes on the basis of CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT score:

If the percentile obtained is more than the category I cut-off ie. CAT/XAT percentile more than 98, the applicable scholarship is 50% of the programme fee; within the category II cut-off ie. percentile between 95 - 98, the applicable scholarship is 40% of programme fee; or within category III cut-off ie. percentile between 90 - 95, the scholarship is 30% of programme fee.

4. Special scholarship for toppers of education board: Full tuition fee waiver and free hostel accommodation/free transport facility

5. To facilitate higher education to orphan students meeting certain criteria specified for this scholarship are granted a full tuition fee waiver. Only 10 candidates would be granted this scholarship on a first come first serve basis.

6. Candidates with benchmark disability and locomotor disability, LPU offers a full programme fee waiver to the persons with disability under certain programmes. Only 20 candidates would be granted this scholarship on a first come first serve basis.

7. Scholarships are also provided to students who excel in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Social Service or are the recipient of any bravery award.

8. Fee concession for Defence, CAPF Personnel and their dependents are also provided.

9. Scholarships on the basis of good scores in other national level tests like GATE, UCEED, CEED, JRF, NATA, NEET etc are also provided.
