The syllabus for MA Public Policy and Governance-

There will be two part in the question paper. Part 1 will consist Multiple Choice type questions. There will be questions asked from Reading Comprehension (25 ques.), Reasoning (10 ques.), Quantitative Ability (25 ques.) and General and Social awareness (20 ques.) In part 2, you will have to write an essay or data analysis or problem solving based on your major preference which would assess writing and analytical skills.

Syllabus for MA Economics-
Macroeconomics- National Income accounting, Fiscal and Monetary policy, Philips curve, national expectations and adaptive expectations, Inflation, Solow growth Model, Neoclassical and New classical macroeconomics.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview.

Microeconomics- Game theory, Firms, Markets, Theory of Individual behaviour, Risks and uncertainty, social welfare and public economics, information.

Quantitative Methods- Probability, Multivariate regressions, graphs and tables, hypothesis testing, descriptive statistics.

Indian Economy and Political Economy- Growth, planning and major economic reforms, employment, poverty and inequality, Social protection policy.

The entrance test will have multiple choice questions and an essay question.
