Alok, in 2018 under State Quota, 429 marks secured a seat in a GMC under OBC quota. This is was 2018 cut off. And in 2019, even until mop up round, 537 makrs under OBC Category didnt get a seat in a GMC. There was a huge spike in the cut offs in 2019. Going by this, it is understood that cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now by 2021, there will b e few more Medical Colleges added to eacch State and the Government of UP plans on setting up a GMC in almost every State if possible. Now that means the availability of seats will be more there by decreasing the cut offs. In 2019, there were 5565 MBBS seats in UP available for admission. Even if this number goes up only to 6000, the cut offs might range between 550-600.
