The syllabus of judiciary varies state wise, for instance I'm answering this question in reference to syllabus of UP Judicial Exam which has the following syllabus;

Prelims consists of paper 1 which is GK for 150 marks with syllabus that has History, Geography, Economics, Science and Technology, Indian Polity, Social Relevance Topics, Current issues of national and international importance.

And then there's paper 2 for law for 300 marks.

In Mains, there are five papers such as General Knowledge, Language,Substantive Law, Procedure and Evidence, Penal, Revenue and Local Laws.

Here, also the mains syllabus for GK remains the same that of prelims, comparatively GK is small part of Judicial Service to that of UPSC as the weigtage in UPSC is far more and in case of Judiciary law as subject has been provided huge importance, anyway when it comes to preparation part,it remains the same,first go through NCERTs book to build your foundation and then go for standard books.
