If you are looking for colleges for engineering in UP , then here the competition is quiet tough.  So at this rank you can't expect any of the above mentioned branches in NIT.  However at this rank you might be able to get any of the 2 branches in Harcourt Butler TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY,  Kanpur.  It is one of the top colleges in India,  with good facilities for students and excellent placement records.
