Hi aspirant, the situation in which you are right now standing is the situation of many aspirant as they generally made a mistake to drop a year for improvement in their exam marks but for most of the students it didn't go like the same they wanted so what is necessary to remember that if you are taking a drop then you should be confident that you must take a seat in any of the good government or private college otherwise it is better to continue with the marks you scored at first.
