see apart from mbbs there is many other career paths in biological or chemistry related fields where you may pursue career. some of the course name I have mentioned below.

b.sc in biotechnology

b.sc in bio chemistry

b.sc in microbiology

bsc in dialysis technology/ anesthesia technology/ medical image processing etc.

however if you have decent Interest for chemistry oriented course you may go for bachelor in pharmacy.

generally students who have interest for mbbs are good at chemistry, where engineering aspiring candidates must have decent interest for mathematics and physics since most of the stream of engineering is maths and physics oriented. however you should chose the field as per your choice, not what your parents are saying or relatives. if you go through any successful persons career, you may analyse that they have work hard a lot and have the enthusiasms for that particular domain. so I think you must opt for the course or areas of subject as per your choices and interest to become successful in life.
