I am confused about joining college. Should I wait for the Jee Advanced to be over then look for college? I don`t know what to do.

See if you have scored well in jee mains and if you are getting a college which fulfills your satisfaction level then you should definitely grab a seat there and even if you think you can get a better college I would suggest you to be on safer side and just have a seat in your hands.

I am saying this for two reasons . First , you will be a bit relaxed and therefore you can focus more on your exam since you will not be worried of not getting into any good college . Secondly , if luck turns your expectations to fall , then you will not have a guilt of not taking up the seat you were getting earlier. I believe one should always prepare him for the worst .

Also if you get a seat in advance , most of the colleges have refund policy as well .

See most of the colleges you will apply for will take your JEE MAINS score in consideration, so it may happen that the admission process get stopped by chance for the college you have applied in then you will really face problem in getting admission. So its better if you are getting admission in any good college then don't wait and take the admission. If there are any improvement then you can always claim for refund in most of the colleges but its better to have a sure place.
