Dear Aspirant,

Do now worry, you can get placement in IT companies even if you are from other branches. All those companies want is candidates who have the knowledge of coding & can be a great fit to their organisation. Do not get disheartened if you don't get CS/IT. Take up your admission in EXTC or any other branch & learn the programming languages that will be needed for the same. Be in touch with the technological advancements & be aware of which programming language will be in great need after your graduation. As now, it's best to learn Python, so similarly you can improve & increase your knowledge of IT by learning them bit by bit over 4 years. After that you can sit for placements in IT companies. Take up internships in your graduation years for coding. You'll get a gist of the business.

Thanks. Hope it helped.
