Well if you don't have the certificate for EWS category right now then you cannot apply with the same. Also if you get it later and want to add it then you can only do so if corrections are allowed. Usually window for correction opens buy that does not happen always. And if that happens then you can do that otherwise you will have to continue as a general category student.
