i am from rajasthan but i gave my 12 board exam from a delhi school and my sc certificate is issued from rajasthan govt. so what will happen during admissions ? will i not get sc reservations or the delhi state reservations for delhi region?

Hello,

Yes, you will get reservation in Delhi because its a UT and you should thanks to Supreme court that made the judgement last year that the rule that a person's SC/ST status will not follow him to another state would not apply to the Union Territory (UT) of Delhi. So, you will.get reservation in delhi.

Aditi amrendra thnks mam ,i was asking because i saw in a dtu/nsit admission brochure that they require state (delhi) issued caste certificate to get reservation in a state(delhi) college like dtu/nsit.

Ishaan Sharma since i will be considered from delhi region , so wouldnt i be needing delhi issued casgte certificate or does the supreme court judgement apply her also ? it would be really nice of you and helpful to me, to clear this doubt of mine?
