To appear for JEE Advanced 2022 you must qualify in JEE Main 2022 by scoring the minimum cut off percentile. You are allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 even if you haven't appeared for JEE Advanced, it is so because a candidate is allowed to appear for JEE Advanced for consecutive year from the year of passing in class12th. If you are appearing in class 12th exams in the year 2021 you can appear for JEE Advanced 2021 and JEE Advanced 2022 if you qualify in JEE Main 2021 and JEE Main 2022 respectively.
