Open recognised boards are valid for NEET Examination and NIOS is a valid open board .
So after passing 12th from NIOS , you will be definitely eligible for neet examination and also can take admission in mbbs etc after qualifying neet provided you must pass your class 12th with at least a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB in your class 12th board examination if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories . You should pass English in your 12th .
