Admissions will be based on performance in an entrance examination and an interview, both conducted by IIIT-H. The exam is to be held on April 30, 2017 (Sunday) across multiple cities. Shortlisted candidates from this exam will have to clear an interview to get admitted.  The last date for submission of online application is April 15, 2017 .

• Stream I : Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics. A keen interest in prior work in languages and aptitude for Conceptual Analysis and Mathematics is essential.
• Stream II : Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Humanities, Art and Social Sciences with Mathematics. A keen interest in prior work in languages and aptitude for Conceptual Analysis and Mathematics is essential.
