On the whole if you compare the two colleges then there is not much difference in terms of placement packages there is not much difference. Packages are covered in the range of 2 lacs- 6 lacs. Detailed information about placement and fee structure of both colleges in explained below:

1.BIRLA INSTITUTE:-

PLACEMENT:

Placement status of the college is  average. Majority of the recruiters are from marketing and banking sectors. If you are pursuing MBA in Finance, HR or any other area then there is no guarantee for placement. For engineering background and IT students there is good scope.

As per the official website, during the year 2017-18, the Campus Recruitment Programme maintained its position with visits from 146 recruiters across all campuses and by achieving an overall target of 794 job offers in all fields collectively. Maximum of placements happened for Marketing and Finance specialisation students. The lowest package being 3 lakh and the highest being nearly 7 lakh. On an average, the package was around 4 lakh for maximum students.Only 30 to 40 percent students are placed on the campus. The placement criteria does not only require your high CGPA, you will have to clear your basic concepts of marketing or whichever field you choose. 

RECRUITERS-

Internships or placements usually start from third semester.Well-known companies visit the campus for placements like SB Life, Hyundai, ITC, Bajaj, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Mahindra Finance, Karvy, TATA AIG,  Airtel, Vodafone, pantaloons, Think and Learn, Axis Bank, DHFL, Jaro Education  etc. The official link of college for placement statistics for the year 2017-18 is below:

 FACULTY

The faculty members are really nice and helpful. Especially, some marketing faculty members are very knowledgeable. You will get support whenever you will ask for it. Sometimes, projectors are used for teaching a few papers. You will get fair industry exposure as well, we were taken to Jindal Steel Plant for an industry visit.

FEE STRUCTURE FOR MBA-

The fee structure of BIT Mesra ranges from 4.5 lac- 5 lac.

2.RAMAIAH INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT:-

FEE STRUCTURE-

 It is 6.9 L (2017–19 ) as of now which will include your uniforms (3 sets) your exam fees, laptop ( useless , we got a stupid laptop with intel pentium inside) , some local industrial visit and study materials.

PLACEMENT-

For MBA students, internship offers are not available but placement offers are many where average package of 4.9 Lacs and highest package of 7.2 lacs.
