According to NTA, any student who has qualified 12th or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021 or about to pass in 2022 is eligible for appearing in JEE Mains if he had Physics, Mathematics and either one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology as technical/vocational/optional subject. Eligibility for JEE Advanced depends on the student's performance in JEE Mains and highly on the cutoff for Mains for the specific year and a few other factors.
