When it comes to Document verification or submission, Delhi University is very strict. They wont even consider your plea or anything abd would simply reject your application and show you the door. OBC Certificate has the validity of 3 years and if yours has crossed the time limit you have to get it renewed as there are high chances they will not consider your application as authentic.
I would suggest you get your OBC Certificate renewed as soon as possible, it hardly takes a week. And the registration process has just started so you have time.
