Scoring 1400 in Telangana Residential Junior Colleges entrance exam (TGRJC) is a good score, but the fact that you are not getting a CET seat could come down to a few reasons:
- Different Exams with Different Announcements - TG RJC and CET are separate exams with different objectives. TG RJC is correlated to admissions into residential junior colleges, as CET does so for admissions into professional courses in fields like engineering or medicine.
- Level of Competition - Although you have a good score in TG RJC, CET rankings are done separately from the CET exam, so your TG RJC score does not guarantee anything with respect to the CET exam.
- Seat Availabilities & Cut-offs - CET dependent on allotted seats through cut-offs based on merit lists, so if your CET ranking isn't above the seat allocation cut-off then you won't get a CET seat after all placements have been allocated through the internal exceptions.
