Hello Student,

A rank of 1856 is a very good rank and congratulations on that. Based on this rank, you would be able to get into most NITs, and even the top ranked NITs. This is because many people who have scored higher would be more in the track for IITs. Hence this would free up the seats for NITs. Also, you may even get the top most courses of the top most NITs like Computer Science Engineering in NIT Warangal or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering in NIT Trichy.

Also if you belong to any reserved category, since you have not mentioned any, your chance of getting into the top NITs would be boosted and the top courses for these NITs as well. This would help you in getting in to the top NITs for courses of your choice.
