Firstly, as per your rank and category the college cut-off of the student will be given. As you said that you have got 50% of marks in jee mains you have chances in getting in some popular colleges.

According to your score you can not get nit or State governments college I am.assuming you as general category students of you have reservations then you might chance to get some government college and you can try some private colleges
