Hello Kaif

The percentile depends on various factors. Some of them are:

  • Difficulty level of exam
  • Total number of students
  • Accuracy

As, you get 66 marks out of 300 in JEE Mains, then based on previous years results, your expected percentile would be 89.02 - 89.22 and your general rank would be 99,126 - 1,16,276. Now, with such rank, there are low chances that you get NIT, but there are good chances that you get GFTI and deemed university. Your category percentile is 91.88 - 92.08 and your  category rank would be 28,264 - 34,144. To check which colleges and which branches you can get on your percentile and rank, you can use Careers360 college predictor tool.

Dear Aspirant,

First of all, Congratulations for getting such marks. Here are the expected rank/percentile based on your marks:

Your Percentile based on category is: 91.88 - 92.08

Your Overall Percentile is: 89.02 - 89.22

Your Rank based on category is: 28264 - 34414

Your Predicted Rank is: 99126 - 116276

At this percentile/rank you have less chances for getting top Nits/IIIts/Gftis in top branches,But you may get lower branches in some lower Nits/IIIts/Gftis.

You should also try for state counceliing as there are better chances of getting good colleges with good branch in your state
