i got 66.7 percentile in jee main btech exam. what is it meant by?

It means you are better than 66.7 percent of  total student who appeared for exam .and 33.3 percent student are above than you
For ex. If 100 students appeared for jee main and if you get 66.7 percentile it means 66.7 percent student are lower than you and 33.3 percent student are above than you
In this case your rank will be 67

With this percentile you can calculate your rank by the formula with is (100-total score)* 874459/100.

With this percentile you can not get any nit but you can able to get any private colleges.  You should wait for the state counselling.
