Hii

For admission in NITs after giving JEE Mains, you need to have secured minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.

For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

So, as per your Category if you are able to satisfy the above criteira then you can get admission in NIT otherwise not

All the best.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, ofcourse you can get into an nit and any desired college you want to, but you have to give jee exams and qualify it with better rank and marks to be able to get into and nit.

I hope this helps.

Hi Sohail,

Im sure you are aware that students have to give JEE as well to consider the position in NIT

please let me know if you have attempted the exam or will be giving it soon

If that is the case then you should surely go ahead and prepare now itself

The cuts offs are calculated as an aggregate of the 12th % and the score as well
