JEE mains is a national level exam for which admission is done on the basis of Cutoff scores. However, the cutoff for taking admission in top 5 NITs in CSE stream is 99.4 % or above for which is quite tough. The institutes which offer CSE are:

- NIT Warangal
- NIT Calicut
