Hello Vignesh,

Chances of getting into NIT's depends on your rank. You need to get atleast 33000 approx rank in order to get into NIT's in CS branch.

You can calculate your rank using the below rank predictor:

You can also check the cutoff rank for different NIT's for CS branch from the below link:

Hope this will help.

Hello aspirant ...
According to your percentile your general rank would be around 61250 and obc category rank would be around 15000.It is not the official ,it is our prediction. The official result will be released by NTA after April mains. You can get cs in Northeast NITs only like NIT Nanital ,Sikkim, Silchar, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Srinagar also if you are from the respective home state .For other state candidate it is difficult to get cs .Do better in April mains and secure you seat in good nit.
Hope it helps you.
All the best.

Hello....
According to your percentile your general rank would be around 61000 and your category rank would be around 16000. From this rank you will not get the top nit.
According to your question you may get computer science in South NIT like NIT Sikkim, NIT Manipal.....etc
So you must work hard and apply for jee main April and score better so that you can get top NIT.
Hope you get it
Good luck

Helloo..

The formula to calculate the approximate predicted rank is :

(100-percentile)*874469/100.

If we apply your percentile in the formula your approximate rank will be around 61,200.

For this rank and your category you have little chances of getting cse in NIT.

Not to worry you will be having one more chance in April. I request you to improve your percentile so that you will be having more chances to get the seat.

For detailed information about the closing ranks in different nits in cse branch please visit the link:

All the best...

Hello Vignesh!
Your AIR in jee mains will be almost 62000-70000.As your jee rank is low, therefore no one NITs which offer a seat for CSE for you.
If you are belonging from SC, ST category and home state quota, then you may get a seat for production or Metallurgical engineering in North East  nits or some IIITS.

Good luck...
