Hi,
I haven't visited Amrita Chennai so I can't speak for it but in terms of placement all the campuses get equal opportunities.
The students from other campuses are invited to the Coimbatore campus where most of the placement process takes place.
Also in terms of education it has a very good group of professors, both in terms of teaching and research opportunities. There is definitely more exposure - fests, seminars, symposiums, extra curricular activities.
Overall a good choice
