I got preparatory sc rank 2313. so if I will iit in form..does it means I am getting admission in preparatory course or direct btech course. as I don't want preparatory course

Hello,

So, as per your question you mentioned your preparatory SC rank as 2313. You have to understand that it means if you choose IIT you will get a chance to stay there and prepare for Exams which if you qualify will then give you admission directly to IIT for B Tech courses. In this course they will prepare you for subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics then after a year they would take a test to see if you have qualified and showed improvement. In my opinion if you are aiming for IITs only then you could choose this.

firstly I was thinking about iit but now all are saying to do government job in future. so does the college matter in government job

I am aiming for government job. so is it compulsory to do civil engineering from iit
