i had 6 subjects in my 12th (eng phy chem bio music pe) and want to give private candidate additional exam for maths after completing my 12th. can i give it as i will have 7 subjects because i want to appear for jee

Yes, you can appear for the additional mathematics exam as a private candidate after completing your 12th. Most boards allow students to take an additional subject exam after passing 12th.

For JEE, having Mathematics as one of your subjects is necessary. Once you pass the additional maths exam, you will be eligible for JEE (if you also meet other criteria like PCM percentage and passing status).
