In order to join Integrated MA in social sciences and humanities offered by UoH, you will have to appear for a common entrance test for social sciences and languages. The test for social sciences will carry 100 marks divided into four parts (of 25 marks each) consisting of the following:

• 
  Part A: Social Studies and General Awareness-Current affairs related economics, historical facts relating to Indian struggle for Independence and Constitution, books of sociological importance etc.
  


• 
  Part B: Language and Comprehension- it will be mostly passage based.
  


• 
  Part C: Reasoning Ability such as Coding/ Decoding, Relation, Directions, etc
  


• 
  Part D: Quantitative Aptitude- Percentage, Profit/ Loss, Time and Work, Interest
  

For languages, the paper will be divided into three parts Part-A:40 marks + Part-B: 35 Marks + Part-C: 25 Marks while Part A will be based on your language of choice, Part B and C will be compulsory. The paper will test on your understanding of grammar such as suffix, prefix, antonyms, synonyms, terminologies, translation, etc.
