most colleges have at least a month long cool down period for admissions wherein they allow easy revocation of admissions of new students (with minor or no deductions in fees paid) so that candidates can shift colleges and apply somewhere else. If you have already joined a college or are planning to join then do get in touch with their admission department regarding this cool down period and the process of revoking your admission in case you get admission in your desired college afterwards. Be ready for some fee deductions though.
