It is not compulsory. For increased chances to get into your college of choice in the stream you prefer, you can fill the applications in both mhcet and mcc. Neet score is applicable to both and the score is uploaded during registration and verified during counselling

Hi aspirant,

The counselling for Neet is done at two levels which are national and state respectively. Now as you have registered on the website of Maharashtra state counselling, you would be eligible for getting a seat under 85% state quota reservation in Maharashtra state. It is not compulsory for anyone to appear in both the counselling and have the complete freedom to appear for either one or both of them. But do remember you would not be eligible for getting admission across the medical colleges in any other states of India.

Hope it helps!!
